PDS Plug & Play Instrument Interfaces
PDS Consultants Plug & Play Instrument Interfaces come pre-configured as stand alone programs that can be installed straight from Compact Disc onto any MS Windows® platform (95/98/NT/2000/XP). All instruments (e.g. Bayer, Roche, Sysmex, Hitachi, IL, Coulter, Beckman, etc.) with serial output (RS-232C, all protocols) are supported.

Features of the PDS Plug & Play Instrument Interfaces
The interfaces have the following features:
- Callable from the Windows® desktop and from the start menu
- Customizable to local conditions (hardware, test codes, etc.)
- Online direct data capture (plus test mode for training/familiarization)
- Data displayed during collection
- Data verified using cyclical/longitudinal redundancy checking (CRC/LRC)
- Data transferred automatically to target application (e.g. spreadsheet, database, etc.)
- Fail-safe interlocks to prevent data loss
- Windows® style error logging
